IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2014-2020 The global objective of the programme is to improve the standard and quality of living of the people in the programme area through the environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economic development of the region, with respect for its common cultural and natural heritage.
The project team of Cross border joint initiatives for better waste management organized capacity building for the employees of the local public utility companies in targeted areas. The first workshop in Kosovo, in Đakovica/Gjakova on 11th September 2019.
The participants had the opportunity to hear relevant presentations on integrated waste management. Namely, within this project, a total of 30 workshops will be organized with target groups such as public sector workers, teachers, pupils and high school students.
