IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2014-2020 The global objective of the programme is to improve the standard and quality of living of the people in the programme area through the environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economic development of the region, with respect for its common cultural and natural heritage.
RDA Bjelasica, Komovi, Prokletije as part of their EU funded project activitites provided solar systems for 50 households from Rožaje, Petnjica, Berane, Bijelo Polje and Andrijevica.
In Kosovo on 22nd July 2021 as part of project activities the project partners organised a ceremonial event for the support of families living in the katuns of Istog and Peja. Namely, a total of 15 families were supported with solar panels, 6 of which are high capacity and 9 of them with low capacity.
The project aims to mobilise katuns for provision of services in tourism, to develop tourism products and services and to promote the cultural, natural and agricultural values of katuns.
