The project Eco and Outdoor Tourism Actions of the Balkan Alps is implemented by the Centre for Protection and Research of Birds, Kosovo Advocacy and Development Centre – KADC, Mountain Rescue Service of Montenegro and Mountaineering and Alpine Society „PASHTRIKU“. The capacity building activities within the project continued in September 2019. Namely, a joint workshop with local tourism providers on both sides of the border was organized in Plav, Montenegro. The workshop aimed at bringing together stakeholders form the area form Montenegro and Kosovo in order to draw conclusions and jointly identify places and services offered in the area and create a touristic package.
The workshop was led by Tadeja Levkosek from Slovenia which has long experience in sustainable tourism in the region. During the workshop she pointed out examples of good practice that could be applied in the CBC area.
